Day 1 : Arrive Ahmedabad; Ahmedabad – Dakor – Ahmedabad
Upon your arrival at Ahmedabad railway station/airport, you’ll be greeted by our tour representative who transfers you to hotel. Check into hotel, freshen up and later set out for an excursion to Dakor to visit the famous temple of Shree Krishna-Shree Ranchhodraiji. It is 80kms away from Ahmedabad and is a drive of approx 2 hours. On our way back to Ahmedabad, we visit some chief tourist spots in the city like Swaminarayan Temple, ISKON Temple, Gandhi Ashram, Hutheesing Jain Temple and Science city. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.
Day 2 : Ahmedabad – Lothal – Rajkot
Today, post breakfast we leave for Rajkot en route Lothal. The total distance covered is 260kms and takes 5hrs to reach Rajkot. Lothal, also referred to as the ‘mound of the dead’. The archaeological excavation sites of Lothal give you some rare glimpses of the famous Harappan and Indus Valley Civilization. On reaching Rajkot, check into hotel, freshen up and later proceed for a city tour of Rajkot during which you visit places like Panch Nath Mahadeo Temple, Ishwarya Temple, Swami Narayan temple, Rotary Midtown Dolls Museum and Ramakrishna Ashram, Asaram Ji Babu Ashram. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.
Day 3 : Rajkot – Dwarka – Bet Dwarka – Dwarka
Next day after breakfast, we set out for Dwarka, the famous ‘golden city’ and ruling capital of Lord Krishna during his years of monarchy. Dwarka is 230kms away from Rajkot and takes 5hrs to reach. Dwarka is a very important pilgrimage destination for all pious Hindus, firstly, because it is one of the holy Chardhams and also one of the holy ‘Sapta Puris’. On reaching, check into the hotel and later proceed to visit places like Sri Nageshvara Temple, Bet Dwarka, Rukmini Temple, Gopi Talav. In the evening, attend the Sandhya Aarti at the famous Dwarkadhish Temple. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.
Day 4 : Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath
Today after breakfast we hit the road for Somnath en route Porbandar. Porbandar is 105kms away from Dwarka and is a 2hrs drive. At Porbandar, we visit places like Sudama Temple and Kirti Mandir, Mahatma Gandhi’s birthplace. Next, we drive down straight to Somnath which is 135kms away from Porbandar and is a 3hrs drive. On reaching, check into hotel; rest and relax for some time and later move on to visit the famous Somnath Temple, one among the 12 Shiva Jyotirlingas our country is graced with. According to a Legend, the Moon God had worshipped Lord Shiva at this place and thus it got the name ‘Somanath’ with ‘Soma’ meaning moon and Nath meaning ‘Lord of Moon’. Attend the evening Aarti at Somnath temple and then stroll away and enjoy the views of sun set at the Saurashtra beach. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.
Day 5 : Somnath – Sasangir – Junagadh
Next day after breakfast we leave for Junagadh en route Sasan Gir which is 1hrs of drive from Somnath. At Sasangir we explore the Sasangir Safari Park well known for its reserves of the rare Asiatic Lions after which we drive straight down to Junagadh, again a drive of 1hr, and check into hotel. Later during the day, we set out to visit places like Girnar Hills, Junagadh Fort. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.
Day 6 : Junagadh – Gondal – Ahmedabad
Next day we depart for Ahmedabad post breakfast and en route we visit Gondal’s famous Naulakha Palace and Swaminarayan Temple. Later, we drive down straight to Ahmedabad and check into hotel. Overnight at Ahmedabad.
Day 7 : Ahmedabad – Mount Abu
Next day, after breakfast we leave for Mount Abu, 240kms away and a drive of 6hrs. Mount Abu is a scenic green retreat in the laps of densely forested hills. This is the only hill station that Rajasthan has and is often looked upon as a pleasant, cool green Oasis amid the barren, arid lands of Rajasthan. On reaching Mount Abu, check into hotel and later move on to visit the famous Dilwara temples known for its intricate carvings and filigree work done in marble. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.
Day 8 : Mount Abu – Nathdwara – Kankroli – Udaipur
Next day we depart for Udaipur en route Nathdwara and Kankroli. At Nathdwara, we visit the renowned Shrinathji Temple which belongs to Shrinathji, an infant form of Lord Krishna. Shreenath Ji’s idol housed here is a 14th century old idol. Next, we visit Kankroli’s temple of Dwarkadhish after which we drive down straight to Udaipur and check into hotel. Later on, we set out for a city tour of Udaipur during which we visit places like Maharana Pratap Memorial, Lake Palace, City palace, Surya Chopar, Lake Pichola. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.
Day 9 : Udaipur – Ahmedabad Departure
Next day after breakfast we head for Ahmedabad, 260kms away and a 5hrs journey, and you are transferred straight to station/airport when our representative bids you farewell and you proceed for your onward journey back home
